Hello, I'm Ridwan. I'm a Computer Engineering Student studying at The Georgia Institute of Technology with 4 years of experience. My focus is Computing Hardware and Emerging Architectures and Distributed Systems and Software Design.
I’m currently working on a few projects and looking for new opportunities. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to connect!
About Me
My passion for technology has led me to build projects across embedded systems, hardware-software co-design, automation, and web development. My current research in Robotic Human Augmentation at Georgia Tech has deepened my understanding of biomedical innovation and the importance of universal healthcare coverage, while my experience in UGA's CURO Research Program allowed me to explore astrophysics and computational research under the guidance of Dr. Nandana Weliweriya and Professor Inseok Song. I was awarded a $1000 CURO Research Reward and had the opportunity to present at the Spring 2024 CURO Research Symposium.
Outside of engineering, I enjoy digital music production in FL Studio and optimizing 3D rendering workflows in Blender.
Career Goals
I am especially interested in aerospace engineering and national security initiatives.
I am currently seeking an internship or co-op as a Cloud Computing and Infrastructure Security Engineer, Embedded Systems and Computing Hardware Engineer, or Software Engineer.
My interest in aerospace inspired me to build an API for an air traffic control system interfaced with an FPGA on a DE10 development board. I am currently building a cybersecurity homelab to deepen my knowledge of network security.
My ambition is to deepen my expertise in chip design, GPU architecture, integrating AI and ML into my workflows, and building secure cyber-physical and embedded systems.

My experience
Biomedical Hardware Researcher
Georgia Tech | Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines
Atlanta, GA
Designed and upgraded PCB architecture and power delivery for AK80 motors, emergency switch, and Nvidia Jetson Nano, optimizing CAN bus signal processing integrity for the hip exoskeleton by 60%. Innovated PCB design with a remote emergency stop protocol by integrating Jetson-controlled MOSFET gating for software-driven motor power cutoff, and soldered 20 backup cables to ensure system redundancy and reliability. Optimized 7-IMU exoskeleton data processing using Python, reducing sensor count by 40% with only a 2% loss in accuracy. Developed a procedural data architecture and four custom MATLAB visualization algorithms for real-time biomechanical machine learning training and performance analysis across 24 pilot trial datasets.
Jan 2025 - CurrentInformation Technology Project Manager
Georgia Tech Office of Commercialization
Atlanta, GA
Optimized Airtable databases by designing a custom GUI that enabled 12 employees to efficiently view and manage their assigned tasks, track deadlines, and collaborate, resulting in a 67% increase in task completion rates. Programmed JavaScript automations for hiring processes to enable application tracking, record organization, and a GUI for aggregating applicant form fields to generate eight data metrics for departmental insights. Deployed a scalable event database for four departments, enforced secure access controls, trained 10 employees on error-handling interfaces, and configured AI-powered alerts, improving coordination efficiency by 80%.
Aug 2024 - CurrentProduct Designer
Nitriam Design
Orlando, FL
Managing contract projects for the manufacturing startup, including client meetings to discuss project timelines and budgeting. Designed 10 vehicles and an RC Aircraft for 3D printing and rendering high-quality product visualizations for brands
June 2024 - Jan 2025Astrophysics Software Researcher
University of Georgia Department of Physics & Astronomy
Athens, GA
Developed a 3D solar system simulation in Blender by integrating 10 NASA Visualization Technology Applications and Development assets and automating 20 motion paths through Python scripting for predictive eclipse visualization on Meta Quest VR. Engineered an interactive Python GUI that enhanced user navigation and control by 58%. Utilized Git version control to manage over 30 simulation files, improving collaborative development.
